New leisure discount scheme for Shropshire
Shropshire Council has unveiled plans to launch the new BeActive leisure discount scheme on 1 April, which will be available to users at all council-owned facilities.
BeActive, which will cost £5 to join, will give members with the opportunity to save up to 15 per cent on a range of activities at leisure centres across the county, as well as offering an advance booking service. Eligible people will also be able to take advantage of concessions that will provide discounts of up to 50 per cent as part of the scheme, which is set to replace the existing Passport to Leisure initiative.
