New-look gym for Grantham College
New equipment at Grantham's PowerSport Health and Fitness Centre
A new-look 940sq ft (87.3sq m) gym has been unveiled at Grantham College, Lincolnshire, following a £25,000 refurbishment of the facilities.
PowerSport Health and Fitness Centre currently has 50 members from both the college and the local community and has benefited from the college-funded overhaul.
New equipment supplied by Precor - including treadmills, a step machine, three bikes and a dumbbell rack - have been provided as part of an overhaul of the venue's cardio area.
PowerSport Health and Fitness Centre sports technician Lynsey Coy said: "In order to encourage students to use the one hours' free usage time they are allocated as part of an enrichment programme, along with promoting the facilities to new members from the area, both the layout and the equipment needed updating."
Precor UK sales director Jez Whitling added: "The gym offers great value for money and now new equipment has been installed it will appeal to both students and members, new and old, alike."
