New luxury Swiss Alps ski resort to open
A new luxury ski hotel - Cordée des Alpes - is set to open in Switzerland in December.
Set in Verbier village in the Swiss Alps, the hotel will feature 34 suites and guest rooms as well as 14 penthouse residences.
The resort is being developed by local hotelier and restaurant entrepreneur Marcus Bratter, founder of King's Verbier Group.
La Cordée Spa features Alpine stream and sauna rooms centered around a cold shower with stone beds and footbaths.
Treatments on offer include gommage, Indian head massage, shiatsu, reflexology and hot stone massages.
Cinq Mondes and Karin Herzog products and treatments will be used in the spa.
Spa facilities include a hamman, spa pools, a 15m swimming pool overlooking the mountaintops and a seawater pool.
Dining options at the resort include the signature Cordée des Alpes restaurant serving local sourced cuisine.
Other facilities include a fitness centre, a business centre and a wine cellar.
