Redbridge Sports & Leisure will open the doors to its new £7.6m Sports Hall in January 2012.
Construction work on the project - by Kier Eastern - has taken 12 months and the New Indoor Arena will feature 12 Badminton courts and two wellness Studios, a café and a 250-capacity Top Floor Sports and Corporate Hospitality venue.
The venue, built to elite badminton specification, will act as a training venue during the 2012 London Olympics.
More than £2m of the project cost has been met by Redbridge Sports & Leisure, with significant funding support provided by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), Sport England, Mayors Legacy Fund, Badminton England & England Netball, as well as several local benefactors.
