Next Generation has revealed the winners of its internal NRG Awards, which took place on 7 January.

The coveted Club of the Year award went to Next Generation West Midlands, which was praised for its food and beverage offering, HR audit, cost control and external events management.

Arlene Sturrock, a member of the cleaning team from the company’s Dundee club, beat more than 1,200 of her peers to be named Employee of the Year.

Other awards were picked up by the York Club for Sales and Membership; Cambridge for Health and Fitness; and Hatfield for Club Operations. Marketing executive Joanna Warren won the Head Office Award.

The awards ceremony was held at the group’s flagship club in Hatfield, with awards presented by Next Generation managing director Scott Lloyd and former England footballer Rob Lee. Details: www.nextgenerationclubs.co.uk
