Kerzner International has officially opened the doors to its striking new vertical resort, One&Only One Za’abeel, in Dubai. The opening marks the launch of the first-ever urban One&Only outpost.

Located in the One Za’abeel development designed by architects Nikken Sekkei, the destination boasts dual skyscrapers intersected by the world’s longest cantilever bridge, The Link, which is suspended 100 metres above street level.

“We have set aside convention and reinvented what an ultra-luxury resort in the heart of the city can deliver,” said Philippe Zuber, CEO of Kerzner.

“Adding to Dubai’s dynamic skyline and embracing the soul of the city, this architectural landmark pushes the boundaries of excellence and vibrant city living.”

One&Only One Za’abeel is home to 229 rooms and suites – including Sanctuary Suites featuring massage tables for in-room spa treatments – as well as a selection of branded residences. All were designed by interior designer Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston.

Clinique La Prairie makes UAE debut

Wellness is a key tenet of the One&Only philosophy and the new Dubai resort has set new standards in the brand's portfolio having opened with the UAE’s first Longevity Hub operated by Swiss medical resort brand Clinique La Prairie (CLP).

The three-floor location is the fifth CLP urban satellite site and joins existing locations in Madrid, Bangkok, Doha and Taipei. The urban health destinations offer a distilled version of the brand’s signature offerings grounded in longevity science, preventative medicine, nutrition, wellness and health.

Tailored to address the daily stressors of urban living, CLP’s hub concept features programming focused on longevity, wellbeing and aesthetics.

The new Dubai outpost comprises 29 treatment rooms for wellbeing and clinical therapies, a movement studio featuring state-of-the-art gym facilities, a Longevity Bar, as well as a Longevity Index lounge.

Alongside membership programmes, guests have access to diagnostic testing, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures – including mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid, botox, laser and platelet-rich plasma – as well as Neuro Wave Stimulation, cryotherapy, far-infrared, IV drips, and immersive experiences that promote balance and vitality.

In addition, a menu of beauty boosters is on offer, ranging from laser photo-rejuvenation to machine-specific procedures such as focused ultrasound, fat reduction, and micro-needling with radiofrequency.

A futuristic boulevardConceived as a thriving lifestyle destination, One&Only One Za’abeel’s striking Link bridge offers unobstructed views of the Dubai skyline.

It plays host to five dining experiences – courtesy of Michelin-lauded chefs, a nightclub called the Sphere, the UAE’s longest suspended infinity pool and a Bali-inspired Garden Pool featuring a relaxed al fresco lifestyle with lush tropical greenery, a lagoon-style family swimming pool and a swim-up bar.

Additional leisure facilities include two gala ballrooms, six meeting rooms, a private club for suites on the 53rd floor and a KidsOnly club offering an activity programme inspired by the UAE’s space mission.

One&Only One Za’abeel also offers guests a dynamic activity schedule ranging from cocktail masterclasses, sunrise yoga and immersive art tours to film nights and in-depth regional wine discovery sessions.
