Peloton Studios London will open its doors to the public on 19 August.

Located on Floral Street, Covent Garden, the 30,000sq ft space is Peloton's European flagship location, hosting and broadcasting Peloton’s cycling, tread and strength classes to its community of 7 million members.

The studio will allow Peloton members and non-members to take part in live, in-person, classes Friday through to Sunday.

Classes can be booked for £25 for a single tread or cycle class.

The Cycle studio can host 24 exercisers and the tread studio 14.

Facilities inside the studio include a juice bar and deluxe changing facilities featuring five changing booths and 19 shower rooms.

Exercisers will also be offered complimentary towels, keyless combinator lockers, Malin and Goetz skincare products and Dyson hair dryers.

In addition, a member lounge serves as a space for the Peloton community to meet and congregate.

The opening comes just a month after Peloton announced that it would exit all owned manufacturing operations, cease making its own products and instead expand its partnership with Taiwan-based manufacturer Rexon.

CEO Barry McCarthy – a former Netflix executive who became CEO in February this year – said that the move will help to simplify Peloton’s supply chain and optimise cost structure.

Peloton was one of the clear winners of the fitness industry's "pivot to digital" during the pandemic, but the brand has struggled to build on its success.

As a result, the company's share price has plummeted, going from a high of US$162 per share in December 2020 to the current US$12 per share.
