The phased reopening of the Horwich leisure Centre will be completed this weekend when the centre opens the doors to its revamped swimming pool.
The pool has undergone a £438,000 refurbishment, funded by Bolton Council, Bolton Community Leisure Trust and the government.
The pool closed in October 2009 while work was carried out.
The centre's new health and fitness club opened in December, following a £250,000 investment.
Horwich Leisure Centre is the latest centre to be refurbished following the re-opening of Farnworth Leisure Centre in January with the total package of works costing more than £750,000 pounds.
