Precor by Inspirit secures Edinburgh contract
Precor by Inspirit has secured a deal to upgrade facilities at he Pleasance Sports Complex, which is part of the University of Edinburgh's (UoE) Centre for Sports and Exercise.
Under the new contract, 100 pieces of equipment from the Precor Experience Series is to be installed at the facility and will include the P80 console.
From December, Inspirit will also offer a training academy for all sports complex staff, which will feature six modules running at regular intervals over a three-year period.
Meanwhile, "core aspects" of the Centre for Sports and Exercise's offer will be rolled out on a smaller scale to satellite locations across the UoE campus from summer 2012.
UoE director for sport and exercise Jim Aitken said: "We are committed to ensuring that we offer world-class facilities and services to our members, whether their ambition lies in recreational fitness or elite sport."
It is the third time that Precor by Inspirit has secured the contract with the UoE and takes its partnership with the institution into its ninth year.
