Residential retreat opens in Napa Valley
A 13,000sq ft (1,207sq m) residential retreat called Spa Villagio has opened in Napa Valley, California, US.
The spa has 16 treatment rooms as well as five personal spa suites, each with views of Napa Valley, and called Aqua, Mayacamas, The Den, The Loft and Stags Leap.
Designed as an intimate retreat, the spa features fountains, reflecting pools and flowers including white azalea, iceberg roses, hydrangeas and flowering impatiens.
With high arched entries and Spanish-style terracotta tile roofs, the spa has separate men’s and women’s wings and was designed by architect Bruce Pao of IPA Design in Berkeley, California.
Charles De Lisle of De Lisle, Philpotts and Staub Interiors of San Francisco was responsible for the interiors, which are intended to invoke a residential tone and include rustic wood ceilings and hardwood floors.
Treatments will use comfort zone for body polishes, scrubs, wraps, speciality massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Spa Villagio will also use Spa Ritual, Pharmacopia, Jack Black, Biotone and TRUE Cosmetics products.
