Ride specialist BoldMove and Triotech, a developer of multi-sensory interactive attractions, have announced a partnership which looks to create a "refreshing collaborative approach to the design of media-based attractions".

With an emphasis on adding value for operators – and the post-covid challenges the market is facing – the two companies will look to create experiences that leverage the transformative trends in parks and location-based entertainment venues, as well as retailtainment in shopping malls.

BoldMove is a venture led by Benoit Cornet – the founder and creative force behind interactive ride company Alterface. Cornet has a long career in developing ride technologies, having spent most of it within the amusement parks and location-based entertainment ecosystem, particularly in Europe.

Triotech will become a partner of certain BoldMove projects and the two will cooperate on ideation, technology and business development, leveraging Cornet's market knowledge.

Triotech was founded by industry veteran Ernest Yale in 1999.

“I have known Benoit for several years and we have always pushed each other to come up with better solutions for our clients," Yale said.

“Before it was a competitive spirit that drove us, now it will be a spirit of teamwork and collaboration.”

Cornet added: “For my next step, I wanted to leverage my experience to help parks and operators create amazing experiences.

"This is the mission of BoldMove, an agile and innovative business, merging creativity with technology.

"Adding Triotech to my network of trusted partners will allow me to better serve clients and develop true turn-key attractions that add value to their operations.”

The move comes less than a year after Triotech acquired France-based CL Corporation, a company designing media-based attractions.
