Ronson wins at LPF awards
Gerald Ronson, founder and chairman of Heron International, was voted Leisure Property Personality of the Year for the second year running at the Leisure Property Awards 2002.
Other winners include the Riverhead Theatre, Louth for the Best Public Sector Funded Leisure Project, Megabowl for Best Family Entertainment Brand Operator, Luminar for Best Nightclub Brand Operator and Warner Village Cinemas for Best Multiplex Brand Operator.
Center Parcs' Aqua Sana at Longleat, was named Best UK Commercial Stand Alone Leisure Project, Sport City in Manchester took Best Leisure Regeneration Scheme (large), while Middlesbrough's Albert Park took Best Leisure Regeneration Scheme (small). Details: www.leisureprop.com
