S$150m luxury hotel to open on Sentosa
As part of its efforts to become the premier resort destination in South-East Asia, Sentosa has announced plans for a S$150m luxury hotel on the island.
The hotel will be developed by Pontiac Land Group, whose assets include The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia and Conrad Centennial Hotels in Singapore and City Realty Co Limited – a Thai property development company.
Set in 30 acres of secondary rainforest and overlooking the 36-hole Sentosa Golf course, the hotel will be operated by a luxury hotel management group, which has yet to be selected.
Hotelier Robert Burns who founded regent International Hotels will serve as an advisor for the project.
