SAPCA heads to Sandown Park for sports facility conference
The Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) is to host its final Sports Facility Construction exhibition and seminar of 2004 later this month.
Taking place at Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey on 23 November, the seminar programme will focus on the funding of sports facility projects with sessions hosted by Sport England, the Football Foundation, the Lawn Tennis Association, UK Athletics and the Rugby Football Union.
The conference will also discuss synthetic pitch replacement, avoiding light pollution on sports lighting, maintenance of natural and synthetic turf surfaces, the design of multi-use games areas (MUGAs), the selection of sports hall floors and the impact of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) on playground design.
