Schletterer creates unique wellbeing concepts
In the late 1980s wellness pioneer Heinz Schletterer developed the first ever modern spa and wellness facility in the hotel Alpenrose in the Austrian Tirol. This started a global wellness and spa boom.
Today, Schletterer is a leading international spa planning and design consultancy, a global player for more than 20 years, creating unique spa, hotel, health and destination concepts of the highest profitability.
Schletterer clients include major international hotel chains and investment groups, operators of city and resort hotels, cruise ships, medical or day spas, health centers and resorts, leisure and wellness centers.
Schletterer is currently working on four continents for clients like Kempinski, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Langham, Starwood hotel groups, or Waldorf Astoria. Schletterer projects recently completed include Splash e Spa Waterpark, Holmes Place Zurich, and several hotels and hotel spas in the Alpine region: Aqua Dome in Tirol, the Salus Spa at Waldhotel National Arosa, or the Hotel Aspen.
Other major projects include the Tropical Island near Berlin extending over 10,000 sqm, or the Mediterana near Cologne. Schletterer is also a longstanding partner of Center Parcs UK and has worked with the company on all their UK projects.
