With global lockdown continuing, spas around the world are coming up with new ways to help people focus on wellbeing even while confined in their homes.

Luxury hotel Seaham Hall, in County Durham, UK, is launching a series of free virtual wellbeing sessions after collaborating with its partners ishga, Technogym and Temple Spa.

The digital wellness content ranges from at-home spa rituals and hypnotherapy relaxation tutorials to cooking lessons and gardening tips.

The content will continue to be released on a rolling basis with a combination of live and pre-recorded sessions provided for free, via Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, as well as some live Zoom tutorials.

In collaboration with ishga and Temple Spa, Seaham Hall’s Serenity Spa team has developed a library of spa experiences to help people relax at home with spa ‘self-rituals’.

Highlights include a recipe for making your own face masks, skin and body products and how to recreate a relaxing spa bath experience at home.

The destination is also providing access to physical and mental wellbeing sessions, including yoga, Pilates, HIIT and core strength classes, all designed to support people’s physical and mental health.

All sessions are equipment-free and led by Seaham Hall’s qualified instructors.

In line with government advice, Seaham Hall and its Serenity Spa are closed until further notice.
