Seaman, Lamb and Richardson set to launch Commit to Get Fit
This year’s Fitness Industry Association (FIA) Commit to Get Fit campaign is set to kick off on 1 July, backed by famous faces Amanda Lamb, David Seaman and Mark Richardson.
The government-backed initiative, sponsored by BUPA, aims to encourage more people to take up regular exercise and will see more than 600 health clubs and leisure centres throughout Britain offering trial memberships for a month.
The FIA claims that since the campaign was first launched 15 years ago, more than half a million people have taken part.
This year, Commit to Get Fit’s nominated charity is The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the FIA aims to raise around £50,000. Details: www.committogetfit.com
