A Sesame Street-themed attraction is to be built in Dubai.

Universal Studios Dubailand, a member of Tatweer Dubai, signed an agreement with Sesame Workshop, the team behind the long-running children’s series, to build three entertainment venues at the first Universal Studios theme park in the Middle East.

Sesame Street 4D Movie Magic will be a 400-seat theatre fitted with motion base technology to allow guests explore the “magic of movie making” using characters such as Big Bird, Elmo, the Cookie Monster and Bert and Ernie.

There will also be a carousel and stage show, as well as Elmo’s Emporium, which will offer Sesame Street merchandise.
