Sittingbourne regeneration plans approved
Spenhill, the wholly-owned regeneration subsidiary of Tesco, has been given the green light to proceed with the plans for the transformation of Sittingbourne town centre in Kent.
Swale Borough Council has backed the proposals, which feature restaurants and open space alongside retail units and improvements to the existing Forum shopping centre.
Tesco corporate affairs manager Jonathan Simpson said: "Sittingbourne will get the boost to its town centre that local residents have told us they want."
