Skyhawk to fly at Cedar Point
Cedar Point theme park in Sandusky, Ohio, US, will will unveil its newest ride on the opening day of the park on 6 May, 2006.
The US$6m (5m euros, £3.4m) ride, called Skyhawk, will feature two 84ft (26m) swinging arms, each with a capacity of 20 riders.
When at the peak of the arc, riders on Skyhawk will be more than 125ft (38m) in the air, making it the tallest ride of its kind in the world. Details: www.cedarpoint.com
