South American hotel investment markets revealed
Four strategic investment markets for 2011 in South America have been revealed.
The results were released in a report called FocusOn: Strategic Spots for South American Hotel Investment by Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
The four key markets - based on the strong demand fundamentals and potential for investment-grade branded supply - are Bogotá in Colombia, Buenos Aires in Argentina, Lima in Peru and Santiago in Chile.
Ricardo Mader, executive vice president for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in São Paulo, said: "Real GDP in these countries is set to increase by a compound annual growth rate of four percent or more through 2015-well above growth rate projections for most mature markets."
