Treningshelse Holding has consolidated all its health club operations under a new brand – Sporty – to create what is now the second biggest health club operations business in Norway.

Sporty, which has almost 90 clubs has been formed by the merger of three chains – Family Sports Club, Aktiv Trening and Aktiv 365.

It's looking to assert itself as a national player with a mission to contribute to a healthier society by making fitness inclusive, accessible and engaging for everybody.

Sporty, has also announced the acquisition of Toppform Fitness, a club in the coastal town of Moss, marking its first move into a new and strategically important region of Norway.

“We're excited to welcome Toppform to the Sporty family. Its strong focus on customer satisfaction and innovative approach to fitness perfectly aligns with our vision to inspire a healthy and active lifestyle,” says Arne Ulmo Gjulem, regional manager at Sporty AS.

‍"Moss is an important area for us and Toppform provides a solid foundation for future development.”

Ketil Hegdalsaunet from Toppform said: “We’re pleased that Sporty will take the club forward and that we can benefit from its resources and expertise to further enhance the training experience for our members.”

In its recently-announced Q1 25 results, Sporty showed memberships have reached around 125,000 and like-for-like revenues had increased by 39 per cent.
