The speakers have been confirmed for this year's Surf Park Summit - the global event dedicated exclusively to the surf park industry.

Taking place at the Scripps Seaside Forum in San Diego, California, from 18 to 20 September, the Summit attracts the surf park industry's leading real estate developers, investors and operators.

This year's keynote speaker is entrepreneur and adventure and hospitality industry pioneer, Jeff Pensiero.

Pensiero is the owner and founder of Baldface Lodge, an all-inclusive ski lodge in Selkirk Mountains, British Columbia, Canada, boasting more than 32,000 acres of skiable terrain. Pensiero's aim is to make Baldface the "greatest ski and snowboard destination on the planet".

Now in its 10th year, the summit's programme of seminars and workshops will feature a wide range of topics.

Session headlines include Developer and Operator Insights; Surf Parks and Sustainability – Flipping the Narrative; Securing Financing & Investment; and Building the Waves – Navigating the Surf Park Development and Construction Process.

There is also a Wave Technology Showcase – in which delegates are given a round-robin-style presentation from some of the leading wave technology companies – and the Surf Park Awards.

In total, the seminar programme will see more than 50 industry leaders take to the stage.

These include Sean Young, head of development at Wavegarden; Nick Neuman, CEO of Water Technology; Paul Chutter president and co-founder Endless Surf; and Justin Caron, CEO and Principal of Aquatic Design Group.

Surf Park Central, which organises the event, said: "Now in its 10th year, the summit is the place to be if you are developing, operating, or enabling surf parks to thrive.

"It is all about exploring the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the surf parks while creating iconic networking experiences, to help make more surf parks happen faster.

"As the only event dedicated exclusively to the surf park industry, the Summit is the best place to connect with the right people and gain access to the insights and knowledge that are critical for success in this rapidly growing industry."
