Survey shows premier prices for Premier League
A survey has revealed that season ticket prices for Premier League football matches in the capital are double the price of those on the continent.
The report, which was carried out by the London Assembly Liberal Democrats, found that London clubs charge substantially more for match day tickets and season tickets than their European counterparts.
The cheapest London club to watch is Charlton FC, which charges between £275 and £550 for a season ticket, but Tottenham fans must part with at least £560 to watch their side. The cheapest season ticket at Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium costs £880, with the top tickets priced at £1,825 a season.
Dee Doocey, spokeswomen for the Liberal Democrats on the Assembly says in the Evening Standard that current prices are "outrageous".
