Budding athletes could be taught by the likes of Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis if an idea mooted by culture secretary, Maria Miller, comes to fruition.
Miller wants Team GB's Olympic heroes to coach kids at school.
Speaking at the Conservative party conference yesterday, Miller promised to build on the Games' success, creating a legacy which will inspire youngsters to become gold medallists.
"Between them, our inspirational Olympic athletes will dedicate 5,000 days a year to teach, mentor and encourage young people in sport," says Miller.
