In response to a commitment to the improvement and professionalism agendas, ISPAL is pleased to announce details of its new Professional Qualifications Scheme (PQS).

This scheme is clear in its need to establish high standards for those working in our industry. Leading on from this, full professional membership of ISPAL will become the qualification of choice for those in the sport, parks and leisure industry.

According to Val Stevenson, ISPAL’s Education and Training Manager: “The basis of the ISPAL PMS will be the demonstration of professional competence.”

This competency based standard will be higher than that of any comparable professional body.

The full ISAL PQS will be introduced in March 2009, with much to be done in the meantime to ensure that it is to run effectively from that point on.
