Thermal Tourism Congress will unite the sector in Budapest with UN support

The International Congress on Thermal Tourism (ICTT) is set to take place in Budapest between 4-6 June this year.

Industry leaders will discuss the latest trends, opportunities and challenges in thermal tourism.

The focus for this year’s congress will be on the evolving landscape of thermal destinations, balancing tourism experiences with preserving heritage.

Presentation topics will include:

• 'The ugly truth about operating thermal destinations' • Hospitality investment connected to thermal heritage

• To-be-discovered thermal destinations worldwide• The Tik-Tokisation of thermal bathing

The event is organised by the European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) in collaboration with UN Tourism and Ensana, one of Europe’s leading operator of thermal spa hotels.

The event will be held at the Ensana Thermal and Grand Margitsziget on Margaret Island, 10 minutes from the city centre. The event is supported by Visit Hungary and its member, Budapest Spas.

László Puczkó, Ensana’s senior health spa advisor.
