The Cinema de Lux brand is Showcase’s luxury offering and the Bristol site is the third complex to open this year, with one located at the Highcross Centre in Leicester and the other at the Westfield Centre in Derby.
The 3,000-seat, 13-screen Bristol cinema also features the brand's two exclusive auditoriums – called the Directors Hall – with extra-wide leather seats, concierge service and access to the Directors Lounge and Studio One restaurant.
Showcase Cinemas is owned by US firm National Amusements, which has more than 20 sites in the UK.

Sushi, as well as six cafés.
In spring 2009, budget hotelier Future Inns is expected to have completed a seven-storey, 140-bedroom hotel, with conference facilities and a bar at the site. The firm, which currently operates in Cardiff Bay and Plymouth, plans to expand to locations such as Exeter in Devon and Reading and Bracknell in Berkshire.
Furthermore, MDC Developments is in the process of completing 200 apartments at Cabot Circus.
