Ayurvedic spa consultancy Tri-Dosha has announced it will launch its first branded ayurvedic massage therapy course this August.
Rooted in Indian tradition, the six-day training programme will equip therapists with the techniques required to perform a number of treatments, including the Indian head-neck massage, shirodhara; a warm oil treatment and udwarthanam; a traditional slimming therapy.
Trainers at the course include Tri-Dosha's chief ayurvedic consultant, Dr Anand, and a lecturer in ayurvedic training, Mr Ninan.
Ayurveda is believed to have originated in India 4,000 years ago. Details:www.tri-dosha.co.uk
