Trump 'lured' into building £1bn Scottish golf resort
Donald Trump has told a Scottish Parliament committee that he was "lured" into building a £1bn golf resort in Aberdeenshire after being told a wind farm scheme would not proceed.
According to the BBC, the US tycoon accused Jack O'Connell and Alex Salmond - former and current First Minister respectively - of making assurances over the Menie Estate development.
Trump's comments came during an inquiry by the economy, energy and tourism committee into whether the Scottish Government will be able to meet its renewable energy targets.
