Bobby Griffiths, GM of the UK Spa Association (UKSA), is urging spa and beauty industry professionals across the UK to participate in the association’s newly launched Spa Industry Salary Survey.

Open until 13 November, the brief survey aims to establish updated benchmarks for industry salary ranges, benefits and retention rates.

Findings will be presented at the UKSA Networking Event at Armathwaite Hall in the Lake District on 20 November and later shared with all survey participants and UKSA members.

Designed for spa and salon operators, owners and hoteliers, the survey's release aligns with National Spa Week, running from 30 October to 5 November.

The initiative follows the UKSA’s State of the Spa Industry Snapshot Survey published in June, marking the body’s first survey of spa businesses in 18 years. The initiative gathered insights on customer demographics, popular treatments and services and workforce dynamics.

Griffiths presented an in-depth analysis of the findings in the latest issue of Spa Businessclick here to read more.

“The hunger for UK spa data has been growing for a long time,” she said. “The UKSA intends to keep up the momentum and deliver a State of the Spa Industry Survey on an annual basis, in addition to collecting and releasing bite-size snaps of industry data on key issues periodically.”
