Ukactive begins search for two new board directors as it looks to broaden its membership
Ukactive has begun a search for two additional members to join its board of directors.
It is looking to add two new faces to represent either leisure providers that deliver on behalf of local authorities, or the wider physical activity landscape outside of the gym and leisure sector.
The move is part of ukactive's four-year business plan, designed to support a wider membership base.
Applications for the two seats on the board are being accepted from senior representatives of organisations which are not current ukactive members.
The deadline for submitting an entry is 30 August, when they will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee before being put forward to ukactive’s membership to vote between 6 and 27 September.
Those interested in the roles can submit their applications online via the ukactive website.
