Visit Herefordshire launched to develop destination brand
A new Destination Marketing Partnership (DMP) is being launched in Herefordshire to redefine the region’s tourism offering.
Visit Herefordshire will have a membership base and be run by a 15-strong board chaired by Adrian Blackshaw.
The board will include seven members from the private sector, who will be appointed by vote through the Tourism Forum, and seven public sector figures, including two Herefordshire councillors and representatives of the National Trust, English Heritage, Rural Hub, Chamber of Commerce and the community sector.
The role of the DMP will be to develop a strong, single brand for Herefordshire as a destination and improve the experience for both visitors and residents.
“Visit Herefordshire will be marketing led, provide a voice for tourism operators and its members and develop a vibrant brand for Herefordshire as a destination of choice.” Details: www.visitherefordshire.co.uk
