Visitors to Scotland offered online attractions booking
Ticketing supplier, ts.com, has launched a new initiative to help tourists pre-plan their visits to Scottish visitor attractions.
Promoted by the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA), the scheme will allow visitors from around the world to plan ahead and pre-book tickets to attractions before they arrive in Scotland.
Alan Postlethwaite, account director of ts.com, said: “Visitors expect to be able to book attraction tickets in advance. We’ve been working with ASVA to offer their members the ability to sell tickets online, using our Ticketsolutions service.”
Philip Riddle, chief executive, VisitScotland, said: “We welcome and support this innovative service to Scotland’s visitors.
“Being able to buy tickets online makes it easier to experience all that Scotland has to offer and will make visitor’s trips even more enjoyable.”
ASVA members already committed to use the new service include Balmoral Castle, Dynamic Earth, The Scottish Seabird Centre and the St Giles Cathedral.
