Vivamayr launches modular health programming to provide tailored services

The new six-module approach allows guests to build on extra services to the core offering

Medical health resort Vivamayr in Maria Wörth, Austria, has introduced a new way to package and experience modern Mayr medicine, with a base programme and six other modules that can be combined flexibly depending on each guest’s personal requirements.

Known for delivering the Mayr cure, to cleanse, detox and rehabilitate the digestive system, the new core programme will include these principles and be called Vivamayr Pure. It includes initial and departure medical examinations, abdominal treatments, nutrition counselling, metabolic and training assessments and various other therapies.

Just taking part in this foundational programme costs €2,951 (US$3,217, £2,507) for one week and €4,590 (US$5,003, £3,901) for two weeks.

The five other modules will provide the operator with a way to tailor advanced medical solutions for holistic health outcomes.

Serhan Güven, managing director at Vivamayr, told Spa Business: “The new Vivamayr Pure programme includes all the fundamental therapies and diagnostics we need for individualised care. 

“We also offer modules characterised by individual applications, tailored to each guest's needs,” added Güven. “This can be selected in advance, but also together with the doctor.”

The optional modules, with services performed by a team of doctors and therapists, cost extra on top of the base programme:

Health Check: a medical health check to detect any issues and provide targeted prevention.

The medical services include routine lab tests, ultrasounds, vascular diagnostics and an ECG. The module costs €1,127 (US$1,229, £955).

Gut Health Intense: further strengthening gut health as the foundation for wellbeing.This module includes colon hydrotherapy, “abdominal hypnosis”, stool analysis and an abdominal ultrasound. It costs €989 (US$1,078, £839).

Mental Resilience: a programme to reduce mental strain and promote inner health. Various therapies are on offer, including breathwork, meditation/ Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation and craniosacral massage. The module also includes something it calls “emotional detox”. These services cost €979 (US$1,067, £831).

Healthy Ageing and Longevity: activations for maintaining physical strength and mental fitness for the long term. Guests can experience skin analysis, sleep lab tests, laser infusion, ozone therapy, cryotherapy and IHHT, for €890 (US$970, £756).

Immunboost: to enhance the body’s natural defences and promote resilience. Treatments within this module include cryotherapy, breathwork, laser therapy, acupuncture, infusions and ozone therapy. This module costs €902 (US$983, £767).
