World Gym partners Myzone to launch small group training programme in Australia
Franchised fitness operator World Gym International has teamed up with Myzone to launch a small group training programme in Australia.
The World Gym Athletics programme is based on coaches offering four distinct classes – performance, HIIT camp, PACE and One Barbell. When it launches in Australia, the format will utilise Myzone's digital platform to add a tracking element to the sessions.
"We recognized that Myzone was a perfect fit with the new Athletics programmes," said Mike Nysten, director of World Gym Australia.
"It will allow our coaches to deliver safe and effective sessions and track athletes through the programme.”
Mike Beeney, Myzone's director of Asia Pacific, added: “The partnership with World Gym will include the rollout of more than 10 World Gym Athletics programmes throughout the first quarter of 2019."
World Gym International was founded in 1976 by US fitness entrepreneur Joe Gold, who also founded the Gold's Gym franchise. It currently has more than 200 franchises across 20 countries.
