Wow! expands in Japan and China
The family-owned fitness chain, WOW! Work Out World, is continuing its international expansion with two new sites in Japan and a further three planned to open later this year.
Licensee Hideoshi Masuda opened his 10th and 11th clubs in Sugita and Sagamioono at the end of 2005 and plans two to three more sites in the country in the early part of 2006.
As part of its international development plans, the company has also awarded a master license to Alex Moisescu of the Wojian Sports Development Company with a view to expansion in China.
Moisescu is due to open a number of clubs this year.
Other future plans at WOW! Work Out World include developing more family-owned clubs and renovating its current stock of family-owned facilities.
