Zoo sued over dolphin splashing
The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that a woman is suing a local zoo after she slipped on water 'deliberately' splashed by dolphins.
The report says that a suit has been filed in Cook County in which the woman claims she was injured when she slipped - and that she blames zoo keepers at Brookfield Zoo who "recklessly and willfully trained and encouraged the dolphins to throw water at the spectators in the stands, making the floor wet and slippery".
She is allegedly claiming more than U$50,000 in compensation, saying the zoo failed to provide warning signs or slip resistant flooring.
