£1m Epsom leisure centre revamp complete
Rainbow Leisure Centre in Epsom, Surrey, has officially reopened following the completion of an extensive £1m refurbishment funded by operator Greenwich Leisure (GLL).
The social enterprise has undertaken the work on behalf of Epsom and Ewell Council over a nine-month period, with improvements including a new-look fitness suite.
More than 140 pieces of Technogym equipment have been installed as part of the renovation, while GLL has introduced its Spa LONDON public sector spa concept to the facility.
The spa boasts four treatment rooms; a relaxation area; a steamroom; and a monsoon shower. More than 50 therapies will be on offer from UK-based skincare brand Elemis.
Elsewhere, new facilities at Rainbow Leisure Centre include an aerobiking zone; a calm studio for classes such as Yoga; and an Easyline area, as well as upgraded changing facilities.
GLL partnership manager David Hughes said: "The comprehensive refurbishment programme means Rainbow will now be even better, offering some of the best, most innovative leisure and fitness facilities in the UK."
