£1m luxury spa for Leeds Wharf
A £1m women-only spa, with the twin emphasis on indulgence and fun, is to open in the UK within Leeds city centre at the Brewery Wharf development this autumn.
Called Waterfall, the spa has been created and will be operated by the watercooler manufacturing group Ebac and will cover 5,000sq ft (465sq m) on the wharf’s ground floor.
The spa will feature a range of water treatments alongside relaxation cocoons, an Alpine Aromatherapy sauna, a rasul chamber and a herbal steamroom.
More than 50 treatments will be on offer – focusing on cleansing, toning and relaxation – while food and beverage offerings will include a range of champagnes and even a chocolate waterfall.
The spa aims to sign up around 500 exclusive members and has the capacity for a maximum of 20 guests per day.
Waterfall will create 25 new jobs – ranging from management and senior therapists to reception staff – and recruitment should be completed by July. Details: www.waterfallspa.co.uk
