Job description:
Hours: 12 per week, weekend shifts

We are looking for a highly organised and passionate Cook to join our Catering Team at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre.
You will be responsible for planning, preparation and delivery of all children’s party food and adult buffets and your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the provision of food for on site party bookings.
• Contacting advance bookings – ordering necessary food and disposals.
• Undertaking general kitchen duties ensuring all legislation and procedures are followed.
• Adhering to all Normal Operating Procedures to ensure set food safety laws and standards are abided by.

You will have a great ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst providing excellent customer service.
It is essential that you have a full understanding of working with allergens when working with vulnerable client groups.
We are also looking for you to have experience within a high volume party role or similar environment.

A relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and relevant experience is essential as this role requires full responsibility for the cooking required. An intermediate Food Safety Certificate is desirable.
