£15m Hotel Indigo Liverpool set to open
Sanguine Hospitality has announced that the new £15m Hotel Indigo Liverpool, a 151-room boutique property located on Chapel Street, is to open its doors to guests from 6 June.
The new hotel, which also features a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, has been designed to reflect the area in which it is situated and the city's cotton trade heritage. Sanguine Hospitality will own and operate the property under the Hotel Indigo brand, which is the boutique division of InterContinental Hotels Group.
David Hughes, general manager of the hotel, said: "The design of Hotel Indigo Liverpool is locally inspired which will bring a vibrant feel to the heart of the commercial district and to the city. "For tourists, it draws on Liverpool's rich heritage of cotton trading, to develop interesting themes and to offer guests something much more than simply a place to sleep."
