£11m revamp launched for Norton Park
QHotels has renamed the Norton Manor hotel on the outskirts Winchester, Norton Park, in preparation for an £11m expansion to transform the property into a four-star complex.
Work is set to begin in March on exterior landscaping and the development of a new reception and main entrance. A new 300-capacity conference centre is also to be built and the number of bedrooms increased from 97 to 185.
The bar and dining facilities are set to be refurbished and rebranded and the leisure club and health and beauty suit will also be revamped.
The project at Norton Park is part of Qhotels’ ongoing £50m investment plan across its portfolio of eight hotels, which has also recently seen the completion of the first phase of a £3.8m refurbishment of QHotels’ Park Royal Hotel in Warrington – a £1.5m upgrade of 142 bedrooms.
The hotel’s main reception is now being renovated and further work will see the refurbishment of the bar, restaurant, conference facilities and leisure club.
