£1.5m refurb for DLL Barcelona
David Lloyd Leisure Turó Barcelona recently completed a £1.5m refurbishment of its wellness facilities.
The refurbishment included the construction of three additional padel tennis courts, taking the total to 12 due to high demand.
Meanwhile the gym has a new layout and new equipment, including Trixter XdreamV2 bikes. Other suppliers include Life Fitness, Escape Fitness and BILT by Agassi.
A new pilates studio has been equipped with cadillacs and reformers, for both PT and group activities, and a multi-functional studio has been built – the club now has three studios, in addition to a cycling studio and the pilates studio.
Changing rooms have also been enlarged and enhanced, with more lockers and better air-conditioning.
It's the first David Lloyd Leisure club outside the UK to offer the Trixter XdreamV2 bikes, with installations to follow in Brussels, Dublin and Amsterdam throughout 2015.
