24 Hour Fitness expansion plans

Mark Mastrov, the founder, president and CEO of 24 Hour Fitness Worldwide chain, said he expects to reach $1.15bn in sales this year.

Speaking in the Los Angeles Times, Mastrov said: “The US is still heavily underclubbed. Only 13 per cent of the population is exercising regularly. We can probably add 30 to 40 stores a year.”
