3D Leisure extends Regency Hotel contract
Health club management contractor 3D Leisure has announced that it has extended its deal to operate leisure facilities at the Regency Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
Membership at the Regency Hotel Leisure Club has increased from 450 to 1,500 over the past 18 months, despite ongoing economic concerns in Ireland. Opened in May 2007, the venue includes a fitness suite housing 26 stations of Technogym cardiovascular equipment and 10-station resistance machines, as well as dumbbells.
Facilities also include a 17m x 7.5m swimming pool; a children's pool; a leisure pool; and a kinesis wall, as well as a relaxation area, sauna, steamroom and whirlpool. Regency Hotel director James McGettigan said: "[3D Leisure] has been proactive in developing our marketing strategy and training our team to sell more memberships working to a sales system that works.
"In addition the fitness programme has minimised our attrition levels and so the membership has grown." 3D Leisure has now confirmed that it is targeting three new Irish contracts during 2011.
