3D secures first education sector contract
3d Leisure has secured its first health club management contract in the education sector, bringing its total number of sites to 49.
The company has negotiated a six-year contract to manage Bilborough Sports Centre on behalf of Bilborough College in Nottingham.
The dual-use facility opens this month and includes a 30-station gym, an exercise studio and a sports hall. An outdoor grass pitch and two all weather five-a-side pitches are due to open next year.
The site will be open to both students and local residents and has already attracted interest from local basketball, tennis, football and hockey teams to train at the centre.
3d Leisure has invested around £80,000 in equipping the gym with Precor CV and resistance kit and aims to attract 300 members to the facility.
