House of Play, designers and manufacturers of play products to the leisure industry, has supported a community based play facility in Norfolk.

The company was selected after the creators of House of Fun discovered that it had built a number of their daughter's favourite play items.

Between them, House of Play and House of Fun have created a comfortable, safe and fun environment for children, as well as a place for parents to meet.

In addition to the play equipment, House of Play advised on security, which features CCTV, magnetic gate walks and alarmed doors.

The 20,000sq ft attraction includes a nursery and ten pin bowling, as well as a dedicated play area for 0 - 5 years. The rest of the facility is given over to play for children from 0 - 11.

House of Play has also introduced a new service for local authorities providing reports on play areas.

The company thoroughly examines every aspect of the facility and reports back. From there, it designs a five-year rolling programme identifying the life of each piece of equipment and creates annual budgets for repair and replacement and a programme of in-house and external inspections.

The inspections are carried out in line with current safety standards.
