A Taste of London
The Museum of London is hosting a series of events in May to celebrate the history of foods and flavours.
A Taste of London, to be opened by Loyd Grossman on 12 May, will allow visitors to buy a Foodies passport and travel along a 'culinary timeline', tasting flavours of London and discovering the cooking secrets of periods of London's history, in an environment of drama, music and storytelling.
Various other talks and walks have been arranged including a lecture on how the Romans influenced the food eaten today and a walk entitled Gastro Soho - cited as 'a food lover's guide to Soho', led by food writer Jenny Linford.
