A fluorescent alternative to the norm
As an alternative to the discharge luminaires traditionally used for high- and low-bay lighting in sports halls, Cooper Lighting and Security offers the Crompton Linergy T5 fluorescent.
Using 54W fluorescent lamps, Linergy is fitted with high-frequency control gear and comes in either four-lamp or six-lamp versions.
It can be configured for separate switching of the lamps, allowing different light levels to be selected according to the activity taking place, ie. operating and cleaning periods. The six-lamp model provides a choice of 33, 66 or 100 per cent light output, whilst the four-lamp version offers either 50 or 100 per cent.
Lamps and reflectors come already in place and a first-fix mounting plate and plug-and-socket connections are provided for ease of installation and maintenance.
Linergy can be mounted on ceilings, conduit, chains, rods or trunking and an optional wire guard is available for use in sports halls.
